After months of preparations, last Saturday the moment finally arrived: the open day in honour of our 100th anniversary. The afternoon kicked off with a visit from our mayor Bouke Arends.
Unfortunately, at the beginning of the afternoon, the weather was still very rainy. Fortunately, a visitor very kindly handed his umbrella over, after which the mayor and his wife were able to continue on their way. Around half-past two in the afternoon, it cleared up, and the number of visitors began to increase. The shuttle trains drove back and forth, full of visitors.
Eventually, more than 2,400 interested people visited our open day. On behalf of team Staalduinen, we would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming interest in our company. We have had many positive reactions and are now going to enjoy reflecting upon a very successful day!
